1.0 Postage & Customer Details
We shall always obtain a proof of postage (or tracking reference) for all orders which shall be available upon customer request. We cannot be held responsible for items which are lost in transit or items which are sent to an inaccurate postal address. The customer is fully responsible for ensuring their address and contact details are kept up to date.


1.1 Delivery - UK
We aim to dispatch all Orders within 24-72 hours Monday to Friday via Royal Mail or we may use a Courier service if your Order is a large size or of a heavy weight. Large Orders will naturally take longer to pick and wrap.

Please note : we are unable to post when our local Village Post Office is closed such as Easter, Christmas and Bank Holiday periods.

From 4th October 2023 at Midday, UK postage shall always be FREE over 20.00GBP and sent via Royal Mail 'second class' or '24 Hour Tracked' depending on the value of your Order. There is an option to upgrade your postage to a quicker service, which is available at the checkout.

1.2 Delivery - International

We post daily via Third Party Courier services such as The Post Lady. Please ensure your PL 'number' or Courier 'number' is visible on your shipping address.

We also post Internationally via Royal Mail and other Courier services. For an accurate postage cost and handy Customs advice, please contact us on enquiries@strawberrymeerkat.co.uk with a screenshot of your basket and your Country of Origin.

Please note : it is the responsibility of the Customer to pay any VAT, Duty and Customs costs incurred on Imports. 

We aim to dispatch all International Orders within 72 hours Monday to Friday via Royal Mail or we may use a Courier service. Please note : we are unable to post when postage services are closed such as Easter, Christmas and Bank Holiday periods.

 

1.3 Delivery of Maxomorra items to US and Canada 
From the 1st July 2021, we are very sadly, no longer able to ship any Maxomorra items to the US or Canada. This includes any third party Courier services such as The Post Lady. This is due to labelling and product safety regulations.

1.4 Packaging
Being Eco and Ethical is always important to us and we will continue to use biodegradable mailing bags, recyclable content mailing bags and recycle mailing bags (and boxes) and encourage all our customers to recycle their mailing bags.

We will wrap items in acid free tissue paper or an alternative recycled paper product.

We currently avoid printed material for address labels as all our address labels are handwritten on recycled paper as we don’t believe in toner cartridges. This may be subject to change.

1.5 Delivery of all Royal Mail post during Strike Action in 2022
As an Ethical retailer, we will continue to post all Orders via Royal Mail and use our local Village Post Office - as keeping a Postmaster employed is very important to us. 

We believe that Royal Mail are one of the best UK postal services and will continue to support them during their Strike Action due to their reasoning behind their Strikes.

Royal Mail Industrial Strikes which has SIGNIFICANTLY effected ALL UK postage at this time. Across the UK, ALL post will naturally be delayed during these Official Strikes; due to the RM catch-up, coupled with their Black Friday post, coupled with the Christmas rush.

Please note : your Orders WILL take longer to arrive during Royal Mail Strike Action and we ask kindly to plan ahead if you require your Order sooner. We have a UK 'first class signed for' option available at the checkout, along with a 'Special Delivery' option alongside our FREE postage service. We highly recommend the Special Delivery service as we approach Christmas.

Please give your Order EXTRA time to arrive under these circumstances.

All tracking is available upon request.

We we will continue to monitor the Royal Mail Strikes at this time.

1.6 Christmas Postage 2023
Our cut-off dates via our local Village Post Office are as follows;

- Sunday 17th December at 9pm - for all Second Class/ Second Class Signed For

- Tuesday 19th December at 9pm - for all First Class Signed For

- Wednesday 20th December at 9pm - for Special Delivery

Please note : the above dates are for guidance only as we would highly recommend placing Orders sooner and via a quicker postage method due to the busy Christmas post. Larger Orders shall naturally take longer to pick and wrap - but please pop us an email if you need any help or advice :)

We're back processing Orders on the 28th & 29th December and then on the 2nd January onwards. Please naturally expect a delay at this time as our Village Post Office and Warehouse have Limited opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period.


2.0 Law and Jurisdiction
Purchasing products through our website will be governed by English law. Any disputes in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.



2.1 Privacy Policy
Strawberry Meerkat Boutique are committed to ensure your privacy is protected in accordance with the new legislation as at 25th May 2018.

We know of your name, address and contact details such as your email address once an Order has been placed. This information is never disclosed to a third party or sold to a third party. We may use your demographic information for research purposes only and this is never disclosed to a third party or sold to a third party.

We may periodically contact you with offers or promotions. We also may contact you if there is a query or problem with your Order.

We only use a very advanced, sophisticated and secure website which ensures your details are kept secure at all times.

We use social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and may respond to you if we are ‘tagged’ or mentioned in your posts. We may monitor this information to improve our service or products to you.


3.0 Pricing and Availability
All products are stated in GBP and are inclusive of VAT, or stated otherwise.

We ensure all our prices, descriptions and imagery are accurate and up-to-date and may be subject to change at our discretion. If we discover an error after the customer has made a purchase, we shall of course notify the customer as soon as possible and this may result in a full refund.

All our products are subject to availability. If goods are out of stock or if we discover an error after the customer has made a purchase, we shall of course provide a full refund.


3.1 Payment Plans
We offer traditional payment plans on all items which are in stock on the Website. Please type PAYMENTPLAN in the discount code section at the checkout and pay a NON REFUNDABLE 15% deposit to secure your item(s).

Within 48 hours we shall create a PayPal payment plan for you to pay your balance off. We shall despatch your Order promptly once your item is fully paid. Please kindly ensure your email address is spelt correctly on your Order - as your payment plan will be sent to this email address.

All payment plans must be strictly paid within a 30 day period (60 days for Outerwear). Please note : Strawberry Meerkat Boutique will delete your payment plan if no payment or communication is made after this 30 day period and your deposit will not be refunded.

3.2 Klarna
In additional to our Traditional payment plans (mentioned in 3.1), we now accept payment via Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden. Klarna is a alternative payment facility if you need it.

Klarna's Pay in 3 instalments and Pay in 30 days credit agreements are not regulated by the FCA. Use of these and any missed payments may affect your ability to obtain credit from Klarna and other lenders. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. T&Cs apply. klarna.com/uk/terms-and-conditions

3.3 Clearpay
From 15th January 2022, we have added Clearpay to our Website.

Clearpay is a payment service that lends customers a fixed amount of credit to make purchases instantly and then pay for them in 4 automatic instalments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest (late fees apply). Please use Clearpay responsibly.

The service is provided by Clearpay Finance Ltd. Clearpay Plans are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Clearpay is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+ (excluding Channel Islands) with a UK billing address. Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to use Clearpay or create a Clearpay account. Other eligibility criteria apply. See Clearpay Terms of Service for further details.

3.4 Returns and Refunds
Strawberry Meerkat Boutique always ensure customer satisfaction is our priority and resolve any issue friendly and swiftly if a problem arises.

We kindly ask the customer to contact us as soon as possible within 14 days of receipt of goods to enquiries@strawberrymeerkat.co.uk if you are not entirely happy with any purchase.

We happily accept returns on unworn items in their original packaging, with original tags attached and in a resalable condition. We may not issue a full refund if any item does not meet this criteria. The customer must pay for returns and we do not refund customers this postage cost unless Strawberry Meerkat Boutique has made a genuine mistake.

Refunds will be processed within 15 days of receipt and refunded via your original method of payment. Some methods of payment take longer to refund than others, PayPal for example is instant.

Our Fraudulent Detectors shall alert us to multiple returns and subsequently Orders may be refused.

Please kindly note : since the 2020 Pandemic; all packaging from returns are cleaned and placed within our quarantine area for 48 hours before opening.

 

3.5 Flash Discount Codes
We periodically have flash discount codes to use on our Website. Please note these are subject to change at any time.


4.0 Strawberry Meerkat Loyalty Points
From the 1st February 2020 we are proud to introduce a Loyalty Point System. For every £1 you spend, you will receive 1 point. For example, 100 points can be redeemed for the equivalent of £1.00 on the Website. Points are available on any purchase on the Website including any purchases made via a payment plan. Points shall be awarded on a payment plan when the Order is paid for in full. We reserve the right to amend your point balance if you return items to us.


5.0 Covid-19
As of Friday 20th March 2020, we are reducing the number of Post Office trips from twice daily to 5 times per week. We are only going at quiet times, sanitising immediately before, during and after our visit.

We are taking additional precautions with deliveries we receive. All deliveries are cleaned before entering our Office and Stock Room. Please note : no virus is transmitted via any items we sell.

 

6.0 Safety & Security
We are always polite and courteous to all our lovely customers and non customers as we love helping you all. We take our safety and security very seriously and any threatening or abusive behaviour we receive via any means including via Social Media, will be reported to the Authorities.
