1.0 Postage & Customer Details
We shall always obtain a proof of postage (or tracking reference) for all orders which shall be available upon customer request. We cannot be held responsible for items which are lost in transit or items which are sent to an inaccurate postal address. The customer is fully responsible for ensuring their address and contact details are kept up to date.

1.1 Delivery - UK
We aim to dispatch all Orders within 24 hours Monday to Friday via Royal Mail or we may use a Courier service if your Order is a large size or a heavy weight. Please note : we are unable to post when our local Village Post Office is closed such as Easter, Christmas and Bank Holiday periods.

UK postage shall always be FREE and sent via Royal Mail 'second class' or 'second class signed for' depending on the value of your Order. There is an option to upgrade your postage to a quicker service, which is available at the checkout.

1.2 Delivery - International
We aim to dispatch all International Orders within 48 hours Monday to Friday via Royal Mail or we may use a Courier service. Please note : we are unable to post when postage services are closed such as Easter, Christmas and Bank Holiday periods.

1.3 Packaging
Being Eco and Ethical is always important to us and we will continue to use biodegradable mailing bags, recyclable content mailing bags and recycle mailing bags (and boxes) and encourage all our customers to recycle their mailing bags.

We will wrap items in acid free tissue paper or an alternative recycled paper product.

We currently avoid printed material for address labels as all our address labels are handwritten on recycled paper as we don’t believe in toner cartridges. This may be subject to change due to Brexit.

2.0 Law and Jurisdiction
Purchasing products through our website will be governed by English law. Any disputes in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

2.1 Privacy Policy
Strawberry Meerkat Boutique are committed to ensure your privacy is protected in accordance with the new legislation as at 25th May 2018.

We know of your name, address and contact details such as your email address once an Order has been placed. This information is never disclosed to a third party or sold to a third party. We may use your demographic information for research purposes only and this is never disclosed to a third party or sold to a third party.

We may periodically contact you with offers or promotions. We also may contact you if there is a query or problem with your Order.

We only use a very advanced, sophisticated and secure website which ensures your details are kept secure at all times.

We use social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and may respond to you if we are ‘tagged’ or mentioned in your posts. We may monitor this information to improve our service or products to you.

3.0 Pricing and Availability
All products are stated in GBP and are inclusive of VAT, or stated otherwise.

We ensure all our prices, descriptions and imagery are accurate and up-to-date and may be subject to change at our discretion. If we discover an error after the customer has made a purchase, we shall of course notify the customer as soon as possible and this may result in a full refund.

All our products are subject to availability. If goods are out of stock or if we discover an error after the customer has made a purchase, we shall of course provide a full refund.

3.1 Payment Plans
We offer traditional payment plans on all items which are in stock on the Website. Please type PAYMENTPLAN in the discount code section at the checkout and pay a NON REFUNDABLE 15% deposit to secure your item(s).

Within 48 hours we shall create a PayPal payment plan for you to pay your balance off. We shall despatch your Order promptly once your item is fully paid. Please kindly ensure your email address is spelt correctly on your Order - as your payment plan will be sent to this email address.

All payment plans must be strictly paid within a 30 day period (60 days for Outerwear). Please note : Strawberry Meerkat Boutique will delete your payment plan if no payment or communication is made after this 30 day period and your deposit will not be refunded.

If you have a payment plan dated 30th December or earlier, please continue to pay for your plan using our previous method; which is sending monies direct to us at strawberrymeerkat@hotmail.co.uk quoting your Order number so we may allocate your monies to your plan.

3.2 Klarna
In additional to our Traditional payment plans (mentioned in 3.1), we now accept payment via Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden. Klarna is a alternative payment facility if you need it. Payment is to be made via Klarna directly with options;

  • Pay in 3 installments

  • Pay Later in 30 days

3.3 Returns and Refunds
Strawberry Meerkat Boutique always ensure customer satisfaction is our priority and resolve any issue friendly and swiftly if a problem arises.

We kindly ask the customer to contact us as soon as possible (preferably within 14 days of dispatch) on enquiries@strawberrymeerkat.co.uk if you are not entirely happy with any purchase.

We happily accept returns on unworn items in their original packaging and with original tags attached. We may not issue a full refund if any item does not meet this criteria. The customer must pay for returns and we do not refund customers this postage cost unless Strawberry Meerkat Boutique has made a genuine mistake.

4.0 Strawberry Meerkat Loyalty Points
From the 1st February 2020 we are proud to introduce a Loyalty Point System. For every £1 you spend, you will receive 1 point. For example, 100 points can be redeemed for the equivalent of £1.00 on the Website. Points are available on any purchase on the Website including any purchases made via a payment plan. Points shall be awarded on a payment plan when the Order is paid for in full. We reserve the right to amend your point balance if you return items to us.

5.0 Covid-19
As of Friday 20th March 2020, we are reducing the number of Post Office trips from twice daily to 5 times per week. We are only going at quiet times, sanitising immediately before, during and after our visit.

We are taking additional precautions with deliveries we receive. All deliveries are cleaned before entering our Office and Stock Room. Please note : no virus is transmitted via any items we sell.
